updated my SBS

when I first converted and stamped my 20ga Shockwave, I shortened a wood stock and painted it black to match the synthetic forearm. but that didn't didn't go as well as I'd like. so, I got another wood stock from Numrich and a wood forearm from ebay. much nicer.

Nice project. Red dot looks young and modern. I'd need to try it to like it

thanks. the red dot is still on a trial basis. instead of using a low cheek weld to see the front sight, I'm having to teach myself to use a higher cheek weld. time will tell if it stays. also, with the way the wood forend fits on the action slide assembly, my CDM flashlight mount won't fit. waiting for a rainy day to take it apart and try to refit it. if not, I know a couple a couple machinists that could possibly help me out. flashlight mounts for 20ga models are rare.

ok, that red dot is gone. I picked up a Sig Romeo 1 in a trade.
couldn't find a plate to mount the Romeo 1. got one made for something else, and figured on drilling and tapping it. long story short, the drilling part didn't go well. and then there was the filing I did on the 2 knobs with my dremel. wasn't pretty. gunsmith first milled off just enough to erase my dremel job, and fixed the drilling tapping issue. then he cera coated it,
mounted and bore sighted it. sits way lower now, and the dot in it sits below center, keeping the dot even lower.

next was the CDM flashlight mount. here it is with the original forearm;

but with the wood forearm, the action couldn't close up all the way and lock. gunsmith milled off what was needed and then cera coated it.

I think it's done now.
