Urgent SB305 (Ohio + Ohio Visitors)

If you visit Ohio for whatever reason (Like hunting) this Bill will impact you. We are trying to make felons out of people that alter their vehicles to construct hidden compartments.

Out of state calls representing tourism will impact the outcome of this Bill. Please take action.

Please pass this information on to other venues. If this passes and you come here oblivious? You won't be going home in some cases.
 
There's nothing related to the 2A there so I don't see how an ill conceived law against installing hidden compartments in a vehicle to stop smugglers moving contraband fits with a gun forum. Installing a gun vault shouldn't constitute modifying a vehicle to form a hidden compartment.

What's your plan of action? You can't just say "Do something".

This legislation passed. Thankfully Buckeye Firearms Association and Ohioans for Concealed Carry were able to add provisions to help protect gun owners to some extent.
