Just curious what a fair deal(face to face) would be on a lightly used(300rds fired) SA58 would be?

    Thanks

Going to have to be much more specific than that. There are alot of variations of DSA's SA58s.

Anywhere from $750 to $1500 depending on the specific model and configuration.

Last December I bought a DSA SA58c that was in near mint shape from a High Road member. This included a hard case, the scope mount cover, a sling thingy and 15 excellent mags for $950.

This guy wants $1250 for it. It seems kinda steep.

I am curious what wholesale would be on one.

    If he paid full retail

-which he probably did the price isn't too bad and no wait.
$1000 would be a smoking deal though....

I paid $1400 about a year ago for a SA58 carbine in paratrooper config. It came with the Extreme Duty scope mount (rail top cover), standard top cover, rail forearm, folding stock, padded cheek rest, hard case, sling and a half dozen mags. I bought it from a fellow THR member who advertised it here. I thought that was a fair price for a rifle with a $2,000 MSRP.

Does a configuration like this hurt longer range accuracy and signifcantly reduce MV?

It doesn't hurt accuracy. Any time you shorten the barrel, though, you lose velocity.
