I own rifles in .243, .30-06, .308, and 6.5X55 Swede aand don't hunt anything but varmints. I have a Rem 1100 12ga and an Ithica Model 37 12ga and don't bird hunt. I have a T/C .50 cal Black Diamond and a T/C Hawken rifle .50 cal and don't deer hunt. Probably the most 'useless' weapon I own is a T/C Contender in .45-70. I have no idea why I have it but it is a hoot to shoot. Bowling balls at 100 yrds don't stand a chance. Serious :D factor.

I guess the only guns I own that are not 'Big Boy Toys' are my Win 1300 12ga with 18.5' barrel, my Kimber Custom Defender II in .45 ACP. and my wifes Colt Det Spl in .38 Spl.

I guess I'd have to say the rifle I bought just because it was higher power and a cheap rifle to buy and shoot is the Mosin Nagant 91/30.

Got a pair of .22 Daisy VLs that are a real PIA to shoot. Single shot, cocking lever like a air rifle (which it partially is), hard to get big fingers into the small hole to load, and not particularly accurate. They very seldom get shot, and usually only when a buddy requests that I bring them out. I am lucky, unlike many owners it's not an ammo issue as I have over 5K of the stuff.

They would be absolutely the last guns in my safe I would grab in any kind of emergency.

Not totally worthless, as they are in good shape and have a cash value, but not good for much anything other than their uniqueness.
