    USPSA - Heavy Metal Change

I like The Heavy Metal Limited addition to allow a Automatic 12ga.
12ga.Pumps are Rough on Old Shoulders.

ime, most 3gun matches in this area of the country are shot on short ranges, 100 yrds and under, which means the $500 aimpoint is maybe at a slight advantage to that $1600 swaro. obviously, the major matches that stretch out to 300+ yrds favor the variable power optics.

but the point is, the guys you're trying to attract are going to be attracted to local matches where it doesn't make much difference.

that said, i can't see how the change hurts anything, so why not?

I think it is a great idea!

Looking forward to the increased participation in the Limited Division.

My hope is that this 1X optic idea carries over to Heavy Metal.

However pumps must remain within Heavy Metal.
It is the only place in the game for the long serving "power tool" of Law Enforcement and the Military to strut its stuff.
