I have a Beretta 92FS, made in America, great condition, looks to be shot little to none, only has one factory mag and no box, papers or manuals - I've been offered $400 cash for it - I know next to nothing about Berettas.

    Any feedback?

That's about right, if a little on the low end.

There are numerous listings for 92FS's on gunbroker.com. Most of them have no bids, at asking prices with $500+. The only ones gettings bids are $400 or less. Sounds like the going worth of a used one is around $400. There's always someone out there who would pay more, but they're a dime a dozen and seem to be bring around $400.
