Are they marked in any way?

There are a ton of GI mags in wrap marked 19200 -ASSY - 5508694 - MFR. 1M291 floating around.

But they are not WWII.
They are Check-Mate Ind. mags from the 70s thru the early 90s.

You can buy the same mag new from Check-Mate for $20 ea.

Real WWII marked mags?
Collector grade WWII magazines, 95% plus condition:
up to $70 for WWII contract marked R, L, S
up to $125 for marked General Shaver
up to $90 for Colt contract marked R, L, S
up to $175 for Colt marked.

Here is a list of manufactures.

Going to have to go home and check the ones that I have....I had no idea they are worth THAT much.

No WWII GI magazines had any CAGE code or stock number marking on the bottom of the floorplate. Some had a letter or two letters on the top of the floorplate lip. None were ever shipped from the factory in cosmolene; they were wrapped in oiled paper.

Many of the ones being sold today as "surplus" are junk; some with the CAGE code 30745 were from a lot rejected by the Army because the manufacturer completely ignored specifications on just about everything from spring tension to inspection hole placing. The same maker then began marking them "COLT .45 AUTO" and peddling them as Colt magazines. They run $7-10 and are often sold in what looks like GI wrapping but is actually wrapping from non-related items.

If you can find genuine WWII magazines (and they are still around at reasonable prices if you are willing to accept a bit of rust), you will have magazines of very high quality and excellent reliability.

For $100 i d buy five new stainless Colt mags or three Wilson Combat mags.

I did not get a chance to look last night, but if memory serves (and that is a big stretch) they have a little P or something on the top of the lip....it could be two letters I can't remember. They are less then perfect, but seem to work in the gun just fine. I will have to look them up on the site you linked.....thanks.
