I ordered 300 270gr. RN .375 blemished bullets from midway last week
I have had good luck with blemished bullets before, but this time the blemishes are physical rather than cosmetic.
Looks like the cannalure is out of spec for many of the bullets.
They all measure .375 at the bearing surface,
But at the cannalure they measure from .370 all the way down to .353!
Now that's a deep cannalure.
It's all going to go through a ruger no. 1 single shot in .375 h&h
Should I just set the crimp as normal?

I bought Hornady blems for several years.
The first batch had few and minor flaws. They got worse every time I ordered so I quit.

Why crimp for a single shot?

Single shot? Don't even have to worry much about crimp, so no issue for me.
Blemished bullets are blemished for a reason. The ones I've ordered tend to vary in ogive and meplat. You can just line them up and see how they vary. Didn't have any impact on targets, though.

Sounds good, blem loads will likely be used for light load range fun anyways.
