I am putting together a team to participate in the Virginia Special Olympics Polar Plunge fundraiser. The even takes place Feb. 4, 2006 at the beach (between 6th & 9th st.) in Virginia Beach. There the team along with many others will race into the chilly waters of the Alantic. Each team member will need to raise a minimum of $50. So far there are 4 people committed to taking the plunge for Va.
Special Olympics fundraiser in February. We still need at least 6
more people (raising a minimum of $50 each) to compete as a team.
The plunge is more than just jumping into the chilly waters of the
Atlantic, there is a whole day of activities for plungers.
