Vepr 308/Vepr 223 Q's. AK experts, please, help

I have been looking at Vepr 308 and Vepr 223. Nice rifles. I don't care that they are thumbhole stock. The only issue is that they have low cap magazines.
Does anyone know what can be done to make Vepr 308 accept Hi Cap Saiga 308 mags or FN/FAL mags or M1A mags? What should be done to Vepr or to the mags?

Same goes for Vepr 223. Can they be forced to accept Galil mags or AK223 mags or Saiga 223 high caps?

I had one a good while back, however mine looked like the top one on this page http://www.robarm.com/RA_veprK_223.htm .
It did not have a thumbhole stock and it used factory modified 30 rd 5.45 bakelite mags

Red Jacket Firearms does M14 conversions for the 308 vepr. Very nice and uses standard m14 mags.
