Versa max and 11-87

Does anyone by chance have both a versa max and an 11-87? If so, could you tell me if the barrel caps use the same threading on both? I was wondering if a versa max tube extension would work on my 11-87. Thanks!

If you don't get any replies here, I would ask over at shotgun world. There is a gigantic VM thread in the Remington subforum. I would check for you, but my VM broke a second time and I set it free.

I'm 99% sure they're different
