There are plenty of smart Antis who will happily say that "You can use a revolver to defend yourself. Look at XXX and tell me that you need one of these high capacity magazines! We're not violating the 2nd Amendment, we're just limiting criminals."

I'd even go further - comments such as "round limits on mags don't help because people can change mags" won't be taken as "OK, so 30-round mags are off the table"; they'll be taken as "OK, there should be limits on mag size AND how many mags can be legally owned for each arm" or something else.
