I started my wife shooting a few months ago. She got interested in obtaining her handgun permit. Well, yesterday she went on her own and took the handgun class. She got all of the written questions correct and said she did very well on the shooting range as well. The only problem is , we bought her a 38 snub nose a few weeks ago. Now, she is wanting a Glock. This is going to cut in on my own gun buying funds :).

    Very proud husband!

    You should be proud.
But your bank account is going to suffer.
Unless.... she just takes your guns.. That's what mine does.

Wait until she tells you she's going to the range, with the girls.

Yup. Mine too. Three so far.

But she knows the way to my heart.

She wiggles her way up close.

She looks deep into my eyes.

She lightly runs her fingers down my cheek and says.......

"Gun Show this weekend. We're goin', right?"

    Love that girl.....:p

At least you can get your hands on the firearm when you want. My problem is losing my pistols to outside relatives...

    Congrats!

Give her an "Atta Girl" from me! "His & Hers" matching gun vaults . . . how romantic (this coming from the guy who just recently gave his Daughter one of his 1911s upon receipt of her CWP because: a) that's what she wants to carry & b) she is very proficient with one.).

No worries like that for me.

A few years back, when pistol league at the local club ended, and a flyer for Trap League went up, the wifey says to me "Well, I guess you will have to go and do that now."

Told her I couldn't. She asks why. I said I did not have a shotgun.

Her response, "Well, what does that have to do with it!"

Yep, no worries like that for me. :banghead:

The Doc is out and depressed now. (Where's my whiskey and pills!!!!)

Just be glad that she hasn't found out about H&Ks and 1911s.

You should be happy, anytime she gets the itch there is another gun added to your collection. My wfe has added 4 to our collection. It is a good thing to share the same interest in such an addicting hobby. Congratultions
