Today the struggle of thousands of German shooters and their associations - first and foremost the Bund Deutscher Sportschützen (BDS) - to counter the efforts of a multitude of German authorities and politicians to ban IPSC, was rewarded with the official recognition of IPSC as a legitimate sport by the German government.

From 10/01/2004 all kinds of IPSC disciplines (handgun, rifle and shotgun) are absolutely legal in Germany.

IT PAYS TO FIGHT TOOTH AND NAILS FOR ONES RIGHTS !!!

Now just get rid of the socialists in your government. We all remember what happened the last time a certain socialist got elected.
 
Now if you can convince them that shooting IPSC with machineguns is sporting. :D

Now that Germany has recognized it as a sport, shouldnt it be easy to petition the ATF to do the same?

Wouldnt recogniziing ISPC pretty much cover a lot of goodies currently banned from importation due to being "non-sporting"?
