I recently purchased a ton of Vit N320 and began working up loads in my Glock. I found that several of the mid-to-high loads didn't adequately cycle my slide. Even with loads on the high-end (near max), I still have the problem.

Has anyone experienced this with Glocks? I know Vit is an extremely fast burning powder, so I'm reluctant to increase the load any more. Should I just save it for a rainy day?

It is a fast, but not extremely fast powder. Near max loads should cycle the gun. What caliber? I have used N320 in 9MM and .45 ACP and light to mid range loads cycled the guns, much less near max.

Hmm... This is 9mm in a Glock 19 Gen 4. I'm using data from the VV manual. What load data do you use for your 9mm?

4.0 Grs N320 and an X-Treme 125 Gr HP bullet loaded at 1.060 OAL is very light, but cycles my 1911s, an EMP, and an AR in 9MM. Cases just drop out near my feet.

Hmm, now that I recheck the Vihtavuori data, that is max/near max. Very light though, and gives around 1050 FPS from a 5" gun.

N330 or N340 is better for full load 9MM. 3N37 if you want to push it.
