Vltor MUR Bolt Catch Compatibility

I am building a boutique AR using a Vltor MUR upper receiver. Research has shown that due to the thickness and cutout, some aftermarket bolt releases won't work.

Currently I have Noveske Gen 1 matched receiver set with the MUR being delivered in a day or two. The MUR is more important to me than the bolt release. I will use the Vltor over the Noveske upper, unless the upper to lower fitment has too much slop. The MUR is not the Noveske branded one which is dimensionally different from the Vltor.

I want a bolt release that is aggressively textured and fits with the MUR, but not extended into trigger guard (no BAD lever). So far Google has only yielded that the Geisselle Maritime bolt release won't fit.

So for those who have built with the MUR, what did you go with?

Geisselle Super 42 buffer system.
Geisselle SSA.
DD flash suppressor (for use with Gemtech Halo)



Still up in the air if I want an ACOG or 1x6

I have the Strike industries enhanced bolt catch on a few of my ARs and really like it.
They also make an extended one.

I was looking at the Strike Industries, have you used this with the Vltor MUR?

The Vltor MUR upper receive is cut for a standard bolt catch and the Strike Industries enhanced catch will fit .
