What a way to get a number of illegals across the desert right under the nose of the autorities. Just for fun, they should all be checked out by the INS to see if they are here legally.

Volunteers plan march from border to protest migrant deaths

Volunteers will walk 75 miles from the border to Tucson next week to protest deaths among illegal immigrants and U.S. border policy.

The volunteers for the "Migrant Trail" will begin their walk Monday in the border community of Sasabe and plan to travel 10 to 16 miles each day and camp by night. Support cars will carry food and water. The walk will end June 5 in Tucson.

"We'll walk in solidarity and witness to the thousands of people who walk the desert on a daily basis," organizer Brook Bernini-Galup said.

Scores of illegal immigrants succumb to the heat and die each year while crossing Arizona's scorching deserts on foot. Arizona is busiest illegal crossing point on the U.S.-Mexico border.

If only a few of them would die of the same. Oh, sweet irony.

Fortunately, we have a Republican president and congress, so the cancer of illegal aliens will soon be a thing of the past.

You're right. Once Bush and the other Republicans give them all amnesty, the problem will be solved, right?

You know, it would have more credibility if they did it without ample water and food, like the illegals do. They wouldn't last a day.

Hmmm... Do we have enough THR members down there to reverse all the road signs, and perhaps reverse-polarity magnetize their compasses, so they all trek to Mexico instead?
