During December I accidentally dropped my hunting bag from my deerstand - about 15 feet. Inside was my Vortex Crossfire binoculars. They cracked where the two sides join together. Useless!

I checked online for a repair station and became aware of the warranty I had forgotten.
It was one of those John Wayne Jacob McCandles warranties - your fault, my fault, nobody's fault. Yeah, right.

I called Vortex and from first contact I was impressed. Truly no questions asked. They emailed me a shipping label, and within three weeks I had a brand new pair of binoculars at my door. Not one cent out of pocket.

I highly recommend Vortex products both for quality ( I have a scope and a rangefinder) but also for customer service and warranty. Above and beyond.

I was using a cheap sitting bipod and it snapped, sending the rifle into the dirt. I looked through the scope and noticed there was black flakes inside of it. I called Vortex and had a brand new scope, in box sent to me and an apology email that they had issues with the powder coating. Leupold is also great! I had an eye piece come off a pair of Binos and they sent me an upgraded pair for free.

I had a vortex red dot stop working on my competition pistol. Called them said I needed it for a weekend match. they sent me a new one and a label to return the old one overnight at no cost. They also sponsor my Junior shooters with discounted and sometimes no cost products.

Vortex product quality varies, as with most manufacturers, but their customer service and lifetime replacement guarantee is 2nd to none!
I had a pair of 10x42 Razor binoculars I bought probably over a dozen years ago or more for birdwatching. Recently the eyecups started falling off frequently so I called Vortex and they emailed me a label to send the binos in for evaluation.

They didn't fix my old binoculars. Instead they sent me a brand new, current model set of Razor binoculars which retail for about $1000. Plus a new chest rig to carry them. Outstanding!

I have a lot of Vortex optics and the only issue I had was intermittent lighting on a Viper PST 1-4 that I bought on the secondary market. Vortex replaced it with a brand new one and sent a note that it had been overtorqued (definitely by the previous owner as I am anal about adhering to torque specs). I was impressed.

Leupold customer service is also outstanding. I’ve sent a few items back when they’ve broken and they’ve replaced them with the newest models without hassle.

On the other hand, I sent a question to Bushnell about the squishiness of the windahe turret on one of my AR Optics scopes and they never replied.

I’ve found that you might pay a little more for certain brands, but they are often more accommodating if there are concerns/issues.

I had a Vortex Viper that went bad after about 100 rounds of .22. Vortex sent me a new one in just a few days. This one too went bad very soon so I called Customer Service to get another shipping lable.

The CS rep was going to send me another Viper but I was hesitant and asked if I could get the Venom instead. With no questions she sent me the Venom even before I sent back the Viper.

Great customer service. I highly recommend Vortex.

That is great to hear. I only have one Vortex product and that is the Spitfire Prism 3X.

My wife got me started with Vortex. She has a Sparc on her AR, and loves the thing. She is lethal out to 100yds with that dot. I was a Holosun fan. I’ve since put a Spitfire 1x prism on my .300 and a Diamondback Tactical on my .308, and I’m impressed with both. The Holosun on my 5.56 will most likely get replaced with a Spitfire and the Holosun on my Masada will most likely get replaced by something Vortex as well. I’m sold on the combined quality, price and customer service, although I’ve never needed the latter.

I have dealt with Vortex customer service twice (both my fault) and they do an excellent job. Both times repaired with no questions asked. Great products! Great service!
Best wishes!

Totally agree that Vortex stands behind their products. Went through a house fire, everything in the safe was damaged. Had 3 Vortex Viper red dots and 2 Trijicon RMR's. Sent them off to see if they could be saved. Received 3 new Vipers from Vortex and 2 dissasembled RMR's from Trijicon, guess what the RMR's were replaced with.

I lost the battery cap to my Venom whilst shooting at the range. Called to buy a replacement. They sent me a new one along with a cap and some swag, no charge.

Totally agree with the comments about the great customer service from Vortex. After the house burned down and I cut the safe open to salvage what I could I sent 2 Vortex red dots to them to see if they could be refurbished. The lenses were kind of discolored. About a month later I received 2 brand new red dots. I also sent 2 MRO's to Trijicon, from them I received 2 disassembled red dots back with no explanation. Guess what I'm recommending.

Had a Vortex scope on one of my prairie dog rifles. During a cleaning session, I set the rifle on the cleaning cradle and turned around to do something else. Of course, I bumped the table and the rifle fell onto the concrete floor. Landed right on the top of the elevation turret. The top was jammed on so tightly I couldn't unscrew it. Sent it in to Vortex, explaining what happened and told them it was totally my fault and I was willing to pay for the repair. They repaired it and returned it to me-no charge. Above and beyond good customer service in my book.
