Ive got a strike eagle on my AR. Would like to try this one on a TIKKA 6.5. Anyone bought or used this scope. Can’t find local to check it out. Only online.

Got a chance to look at the 3x18 Strike Eagle today. Great glass. Turrets feel good. Found in local gun store for $370. Online $450 plus. Probably best second focal plane MOA scope I’ve ever looked through. Every bit as nice as my Nightforce SHV. MOA treticle is numbered on every other hashmarks but doesn’t clutter the glass at all. Doesn’t look anything like on line pictures. From low power to highest I never saw any haze in the lens at all. Parralexgoes from 10 to infinity if I’m not mistaken. Close to dark when I looked through it and what I couldn’t see anymore the glass done it for me. Got store holding it until Tursday or Wed when I can find a 30 mm DNZ mount for my Tikka. I usually don’t rant too much about optics since my eyes are older and weaker but this one blew my Nightforce and HST away.

The only Vortex I’ve ever looked through that to my eyes could hang with Nightforce is a Razor.

If I had my options all my optics would be Nightforce. Unfortunately that’s not going to happen. My SHV is not on par with higher end Nightforce scopes but I’m told glass is the same. I’m still very impressed with the new Strike Eagle. Never looked through a Razor so I couldn’t compare.
