Thinking about some new grips for my Ruger. Did a little photo shop and put
some different grips on my Ruger. Tell me which one you like.

Top Right...the fleur de lis are classy.

Although the pure white imitation ivory is a close second. I mean, why be subtle?

I like these!!!;)

Gotta say, upper left but lower right is a close second. Might I suggest exploring some smooth elk grips like the 'executioner' Patrick Gasshorn makes. Those are what I'd like if I ever hit the lottery.

Am I the only one that likes the good old orginal Ruger grips bottom on the bottom left ?

They may not look as pretty (they look plain and subdued) as the others but I find they fit and feel best in my hands.

I have tried fancy, slick looking (but not slick very slightly rubbery in fact) carbon fibre which are beautiful and feel quite good. They are my second favorite

I have also tried wood checkered Altamont grips which provide great traction but also feels like a cross between wood and plastic due to the finish I guess.

All of the aftermarkets needed tweaking and adjustment to fit and after the work was done still did not have the near flawless fit to the frame of the original Ruger grips.

The aftermarkets were also slighty bigger than stock grips (wider.) I am not a fan of big wide grips. Although the aftermarkets were not jumbo I still prefere slimmer grips.

The stock grips fit my hands the best. They feel natural and they are niether too slippery or too grippy.

I'm in full agreement with you! (see post #16)

I like the finish of the stock grips, i prefer a raw finish over a thick clear coat but i like the wood grain on the top left.

You could strip the clear off the top left so they were unfinished like the bottom left then they would be the best.
