what's the easiest way to mount a red dot on one of these rifles? it doesn't have side mount... standard AK dust cover won't work... I don't want to change out the hand guard... what's my options? thanks, Johnny

I posted two options on last two pages of "vz.58 club" thread.
    Gunexpert (which I use):

Or you can buy alu-alloy forearm (e.g. Troy), stay away of plastic - its prone to deform.

Not having seen the rifle in question: I have to remove the optic to clean the rifle?

You just remove the optics with the spring cover (rail) - it holds zero even after multiple taking on/off.

Gunxpert (www.sa58.cz) ships to US, not sure about Kinggun (both are Czech companies).

too rich... for my blood... $384 to mount a red dot for a $400 rifle... I may have to go with handguard replacemnt for $70 or just use irons...
