Vz58 Folder

I was at a friends house the other day who happens to be a long time AK builder. We got on the topic of VZ58's and he pulls one out of the corner goes on about how they are a reliable rifle though they are not his cup of tea. He went in on a group buy a long time ago and it sounded like he got stuck building over 30 of them. It sounded like he just got sick of them after a while.

Long story short he said he would take $350 for it with 4 mags, its a folder with bakelite furniture. Good Deal?

Even if thats the century sporter build thats a deal, if its a CZ thats a steal

Home build? Test fire it first, if you can. I am very fond of my vz-58. If it's the military folder, I would recommend a piece of foam pipe insulation and duct tape to hold it over the stock.

It's a home build but the guy is very reputable (even did a prototype for Red Jacket). I would test fire it just to see if I like shooting it. I just don't know if I need another ak to equip.

Definitely buy it.....sounds like a deal even if it is a century build. They start at 499. No chrome lined barrel though ;(
