VZ58 Folding stock woes :-(

I purchased one of the surplus CZ VZ58 folding stocks from TG International. They told me there stocks had some finish wear but were tight for surplus. I bit the bullet and ordered one. It came today and is really loose. I was exspecting some wobble. But it has 3/4 inch of play when folded. (smacks the reciever) and about 1/2 inch or more play when Open.

Is this normal for the VZf8 folders?

Is there any way to fix it/tighten it up?

nope all of mine are tight but then all of mine are built from unissued parts sets

You can build the back of the arm of the stock up some with some weld and it will tighten right up.

My Gunsmith took all of the wobble out of the stock today. He beveled the the key and the reciveing grove for the key. That took out 90% of the wobble.

He then placed a set screw that ads tention to the stock. And another that stops the pin from moving. It locks up tight now.
