    Hi all,

I've been looking around to find a decent ~4 rifle wall rack, but have really come up empty. Does anyone have any suggestions other than the made-in-china stuff that Dicks/Cabalas carries?

    Thanks!

Maybe try eBay for something used?

If you're looking for something nice, like a piece of furniture, maybe check out a cabinet maker who does custom orders. Gun racks are a very simple design, and cabinet makers already have a lot of good stock on hand. Shouldn't cost you too much.
Just take in a picture or drawing of what you want and they can probably put a nice one together at a decent price.

Where are you located? Lots of us woodworkers around that would be willing to help out. Do you have a set of plans or design picked out? That will help a lot.

I'm in North Carolina, close to Raleigh if it helps. I don't have a set design or plans, however I'm looking for a basic 4-rifle horizontal rack with a small open shelf under the rack. If you feel like this can be done without putting a crater in my wallet, PM me and I can send details/sketches.

    Thanks!

I'm guessing you'd need to be quite a bit more specific about what you want before any of us can be of much help.
