Interesting. I like Walther, I think their products are borderline cult-status. Build quality seems to exceed HK and Glock by a margin. Will be watching this.
Walther already sell 4 pistols in .22 LR: PPQ 22, P22, GSP, and SSP. It's a comprehensive line-up. I suppose they miss an equivalent of KelTec CP33, but that's about it.It’s a 22LR pistol
It’s a reference to Glock doing the same thing by teasing everyone with a picture and then it being a 22LR pistol.Walther already sell 4 pistols in .22 LR: PPQ 22, P22, GSP, and SSP. It's a comprehensive line-up. I suppose they miss an equivalent of KelTec CP33, but that's about it.
How would we feel about a 10mm PPQ or a Q4SF in .45?
I hadn’t thought of a 10mm PPQ, that would be darn tempting.

Now I'll get back to staring at my Walther P22 - the one I bought back in 2002 when they were first released....
The P99 I owned was a quality gun.
Will keep an eye on it. If it’s a Hellcat competitor and the reviews are good, it might replace the Hellcat.
I’d love a double single like the P99 with the European mag catch but one would be foolish to think it’d be anything other than a striker fired gun with standard American catch.
I really doubt whatever it is will have the European mag catch. They tried that with the PPS M1 and the american market hated it so much that when they released the PPS M2, going to a button release was pretty much the only change.
It’s reallt hard to drop the magazine when you don’t wanna with the Euro release. Same with the heel types on the Maks and PPs.
