Walther P22 or Ruger SR22?

If you are able to purchase a S&W M&P .22 Compact in that lovely state I would check that pistol out. Both my and my buddies M&P's work flawlessly, his with a supressor much of the time. Many a trapped Texas feral hog has bit the dust to these pistols, one pop in the brain and you have sausage ingrediant number one. The Smith seems to feed about anything I capture and stuff in the mags including some old Wards, Sears and Western Auto ammo I found in my stash.

Any reason you are skipping over the usual suspects in the 22lr world? the ruger mk-whatever and buckmarks? or even the s&w liberty? Unless you want a kinda crappy single/double action trigger over a nice single action for some reason.

I agree! The Ruger Mark II I can attest to as well as the Buckmarks. The Ruger Mark II eats anything and spits out tiny groups FME.

I just meant that it's inconvenient to send a gun back..... no matter who the mfg is.
Not really, IMHO good customer service is defined by sending you a pre-paid shipping label and turning around the repair in a reasonable time (~2 weeks or less). If you have to pay to ship it back as an individual you are looking at ~$60 for any "warranty" work. Kahr & EAA can you feel me?

I get what you're saying, but, imo, having my truck fixed for free under warranty in a cpl hrs is stI'll an inconvenience.

Granted, it's still better than the alternatives
