To anyone that owns a Walther PPK (or perhaps PPK/S), I am trying to find out the external diameter of the barrel on that pistol. I don't have one handy to measure, but I do have a FEG APK2 that might need a new recoil spring. I thought if they were close enough in diameter I could cut a replacement PPK spring down to work, since I'm sure the APK spring isn't as stout.

    Any information is appreciated.

Michael T, this APK2 is chambered for .22LR, not .380, and shouldn't require quite the same strength.

Do your self a favor and buy a proper spring.

    Hm.

OK, assuming one was available (and I have not been able to find one for this model online) where would you suggest I look?

Wolff only lists two FEG pistols, neither of which I have and neither are .22LR.

The FEG APK2 matches most PPK external dimensions, but I'm not sure about the barrel diameter I asked about in my OP. If a PPK spring fits the diameter, I think it would be a bit too strong given the pressure difference between the two calibers.

In any event, I was really just looking for someone with both a ruler and a PPK.
