My friend has a Walther PPK .380 pre 1970. When he took it apart to clean the hammer stuck open. Now it wont move. Does anyone know of a solution?

Yep, there is a disc shaped gear (#28 on the schematic) that sometimes over-rotates in PPK's and locks up the whole works. You've got to get it stripped to the point where you can see this gear, then IIRC (it has been quite a while since I had to do this) you can pull the hammer back just a tiny bit and it disengages from the gear and you can rotate it back into the correct position. If you can't disengage the hammer you might have to remove the gear completely to get it back in position.
