...and I've pretty much owned them all

The Black Tie is one of the four new Meister Manufaktur pistols Walther is building. Its got a carbon steel frame and slide cut from solid billet steel. Its then Tennifer treated and finished with Stinox, which is a nice satin finish. The one piece wrap around grips are machined from a block of aerospace grade aluminum.

The new Dynamik Performance Trigger is possibly the best striker fired trigger I've ever experienced.

Even the presentation is top notch...

The Black Tie is hefty. It weighs in at 48oz with an empty magazine, which is 5oz heavier than my Q5 Match SF Pro on the left. The Black Tie is near double the price of the standard SF models, but well worth it, in my opinion.

Anybody have one of these or any of the Meister ManufaKtur Walthers?

Color me jealous. I don't and won't have one. Can't see worth a hoot anymore and my hands shake like leaves in a stiff wind so I couldn't take advantage of it. I'll just use cheaper tools to waste my ammo.

Hadn’t heard of this line before your post. Thanks for sharing! Looking at the rest of them it’d be a tough choice for me between the Black Tie and Black Diamond, and the others are an easy nope.

Only $30,000. I'd get one but they don't offer them in .40 S&W...

All kidding aside, I think the Q5 Match SF series guns are very interesting and likely good investments. A lot of quality and attention to detail for under $3k.

Lots of great work went into those, but I'm just not a fan of engraved handguns.

I’ve never been a fan of over-figured guns, aesthetically. In my eye, all the real beauties seem to share a simplicity of line and a smooth flowing surface. Mind you, not Glock simple, but BHP simple. Still, the Walther is no doubt an awesome performer.

I just bought the standard Q5 Match SF and it’s a bad-ass looking gun, but the Black Tie is absolutely gorgeous. Enjoy.

I didn’t know Walther made such a beast. It’s beautiful...
