Cz75BD, CZP-01, BHP, Sig 226 all shoot lead, plated, fmj reloads. Glock 17 & 34 shoot fmj reloads just fine. I use the Lee Factory Crimp Die in station 5 of my LnL and never have any troubles with feeding. Single stack 9's are fun too.
Star model 30 if you can find one. Feeds anything and your empties will land in a little pile if your shooting position remains relatively constant. 16 rd capacity.
How about an M&P or XD? I've got and enjoy shooting both of these guns, and they, like the Glock, are polymer framed. If you might prefer a steel framed alternative, the Hi-Power (with a normal capacity of only 13) and CZ 75 are both good choices.
I've shot lots and lots of lead - almost exclusively - through each of these without any problems.
I have a Glock and I`ve shot about a thousand rounds in the past few months with ZERO problemas. About half`n half jacketed and lead head semi wad cutters of which, by the way, were the worst bullets I`ve ever used while reloading.
Watch the he said, she said folks. I`ve never heard that or read anything about such a thing before.
I have 6 Glocks. 4-9mm's , a 40 and a 10mm. About 90% of the rds that go thru them are my reloads. Use established reloading data when making your reloads. I personally won't use anyones reloads other than mine. I use a single stage press and am very anal about the reloading process. I only use Berrys or Rainier plated bullets in them. Never any problems.
I only have a couple of full sized 9s, a Ruger P95 and a Springfield Model 9. The Springfield is a CZ assembled here. Both shoot reloads just fine, but the Ruger truly shoots anything. I also have a Sig P, and like all of my other Sigs, it has a tight chamber and a reload has to be under max oal and taper crimped tightly to feed reliably.
