I've looked at all the tips online, I've hosed it down with WD-40, rapped it with a rubber mallet 100 times, I've swung it against my bed mattress, and I cannot get this damn stock out.

Is there any way to get the stock out of this rifle that won't destroy it?

Did you remove the dust cover and inside screw?

Try this.

yup, all screws removed before attempting to pull stock.

I don't have access to a tree, but I could try trying it to something heavy and pulling it.

I used a big regular screwdriver and pried/levered it back unit it was loose using the large hole you see to the left of the screw he has the screwdriver in, in the still of the video above.

I suppose you could heat the rear of the receiver and trunion are if its really stuck, but mine popped loose pretty quick just with the screwdriver.

The boy in the video with the hammer is a knucklehead. If you're comfortable with that, have at it. :)

The rope idea might work, but I think you'll find the screwdriver works well, as long as you have enough of a gap to get it in. Mine had a gap about what you see in the pic above.

Mine does not have a hole for prying, so I'm gonna go with the rope trick and some masking tape.

Grow stronger. Get a bigger hammer/mallet. Other than that, put the receiver in a vice (towels around it) and whack that stock! You won’t damage the receiver, the stock on the other hand.........

It's out. I spent the last 30 mins with a wooden dowel and mallet tapping the stock from inside the receiver and then very slowly walking the stock out by prying on the left and right side of the stock where there was a little gap between the stock and the receiver. Didn't use much force, just nudge by nudge, gracious amounts of WD-40, then back to dowel and mallet and after enough time it's out.

So, I think the trick here is the day before someone attempts this to spray WD all along the inside at the back of the receiver, stand it up to get it to let it trickle down thru the mating surfaces, and do that every few hours. I figure whatever moisture is still in the wood will get displaced by the WD40 and help shrink it ever so slightly.

Mods can close the thread if they wish, I got done what I wanted done. Thanks to all for the suggestions, turned out the rope trick wasn't needed this time, but I hadn't heard or seen that one yet.
