Weapons Stolen from Sheriff's Truck

    This happened in the deputy's driveway as he slept in the house just feet away. They actually unbolted the electric rack that the shotgun locked into and apparently took it too.

    I still remember when one of the sheriff's deputies kept an M1 carbine tossed
    in the back of a county marked Jeep cherokee under a sweatshirt.....not very
    secure....

    Wow, that sucks but those are some nice firearms!
    I hope he's the type of Sheriff that will sign form 4's and not the "only I can have them" type.
    At least they were locked up, although who knows how that rack was mounted (sheet metal screws? :p )

    How many situations like this must occur before our legislators come to their senses and ban firearms for sherrif's deputies and other law enforcement officers. ;)
