Weaver Magnetic Bore Sighter (Muzzle; No Batteries)

Just ran into this new item today while shopping for Weaver Torque Wrench Screwdrivers.

Have a laser bore sight tool, but it is finicky and also useless in sunlight.

Anyone have any experience with this new tool?

That looks similar to, but slightly better than, the BSA one I have. In my experience, it works fairly well. It has always put me on paper.

It is too short for my AR, though. Large height-over-bore ratios can put it too low in the scope's field of view.
