Welding Anti-Splatter Spray on Baffles?

Does anyone out there have any experience using welding anti-splatter spray on their suppressor baffles?

This stuff seems like it could be perfect for .22 cans, but I was hoping someone out there has some insight before I bite the bullet.

I'd be careful here. The lead build up in .22lr suppressors is significant, but you don't want it to build up and then flake off while shooting where it could act as an obstruction or cause a baffle strike.

I soak mine in penetrating oil overnight, and just scrape it off. There is no need to make the surfaces all "clean and shinny".
