Found a pistol at my local pawn shop I had to have. Luckily for me I actually have a good one to go to. I've had it on layaway since October with hours at work being short during the beginning of winter (well not short to some, still getting 35-45 a week). But i digress. I am a fan of .45 acp handguns and always will be. Not to say any other is inferior or anything but i just find the 45 to be so satisfying to shoot. I digress again. I picked up a S&W M&P and honestly the price was what i consider very good at $400 simply because it hasn't sold and has been sitting for a few months, and i do a good bit of business with them on odds and ends.
Now to the good bit, cleaned it up and checked everything out and other than the "lawyer trigger" everything works smooth as glass. Shoots good just using a box of the federal 100count box and honestly is as accurate as i could expect.
This particular one is the one without the manual safety and the magazine lockout. No lock in the frame (if that is the correct term. I know the have that little hole in the frame of some models). Going to shoot more tomorrow. Prolly take my AR as well. Not been to the range forever so why not go?
I'll add more when I have more time with it and I'd like to hear other folks thoughts on this model. I may wind up replacing the trigger sometime in the future but for now I'm not going to do anything but enjoy it.
