i went to a local gunshop today, to help my buddy find his first handgun (he hasn't purchased anything yet, but now has some ideas of things i like. i found this Vaquero in the used gun case, and decided i needed a .45 Colt.

I've got a pair of New Models in 357/38 as well as a pair of Stainless in 45 Colt. Terrific fun.

i've owned a single six convertible for some time now, and i'm glad to have the full size. it was one of a consecutive pair, unfortunately i was not able to get both. it's been slicked up for cowboy action shooting with lighter springs. the action is buttery smooth.
