A bill is working it's way through the state legislature that would make CCW permit holders' names and addresses private...

There was one vote against it on the committee and this was her statement about CCW holders:
Brown said she doesn't like the idea of concealed weapons permits anyway. West Virginia law allows residents to carry guns unconcealed without any permission.

"I read those lists so I know who to stay away from," she said. "This goes against the public's right to know."

I almost thought she was going to talk about "the shoulder thing that goes up."

From her bio:
Retired Administrator Born October 5, in San Francisco, California,
It's all so clear now.

Sounds like the same kind of remark Tom Mauser made when the Colorado CCW bill was finally working its way to success. He said he'd feel very uncomfortable sitting next to someone with a gun. (In context, he indeed meant a permitted person.)

What, do these folks have some kind of gene pattern which blocks their brains when it comes to firearms?

(Tom Mauser's son was killed at Columbine, and while I sympathize with his grief, he has become one of Colorado's most fervid anti-gunners. And he has Governor Ritter's ear.)
