I only plink with 7.62x39... the 5.56 stuff is too outrageous price-wise. The 7.62 stuff is almost half the price of 5.56... ouch

Reloads using the cheapest 55gr fmj I can find and h335 since it meters so well.

Still working through some RG L2A1 (M855 equivalent) stuff I bought a couple years ago (shoulda bought more).

I buy XM193 as my primary stash ammo but for shooting I buy XM193 and Prvi M193. Getting into reloading soon...

Whatever .223 55gr or 62gr is cheap and available at the time. Usually UMC or American Eagle, sometimes PMC, sometimes Prvi...

55 grain fmj reloads or Black Hills SBHP (55 gr), as my CZ carbine has a slower twist and doesn't like the 62 gr stuff. BUT as it's a bolt-gun..., I don't worry too much about ammo price as you fellers with your new fangled, gas operated, air cooled, auto-loading, ammo burners.

I'm a cheapskate..., what else can I say? :neener:

LD :D

Only Factory New Black Hills 69 Gr. Moly coated Sierra MatchKing's have found their way thru my bore, Not cheap but my rifle loves em. I'm saving up the Brass for hand loading sometime down the road.
