What .40 for my 40th?

You already have a really good collection of .40 S&W pistols, is there a reason you don’t have an HK P2000 to keep the P30 and the USP company?

Aside from a P2000, I’d add a Walther P99 AS in .40, I’ve seen some great deals on these used. You have to shoot one of these to appreciate one.

Getting older does have its benefits, I have some great ideas in five years when you turn .45 ACP (LOL).

I never could warm up to the P2000 for some reason, but if CBP sells theirs off I might grab one.

If I go the Glock route it'll be a 22; the full size guns fit me better than the compacts.

I turn 40 in a few months and I want to buy a .40 to mark the occasion. I already have three .40s - they are a SIG P229, an HK USP, and an HK P30. What should be my fourth .40?

Given what appears to be a theme I will suggest the Walther P99 AS or P99c AS...I think the triple mode trigger would be interesting.

I would go with a CZ with a steel frame but hard to find in .40 where I am. They are beautiful guns. The Sig is a great quality gun too but they are pricy and most I have seen have aluminum frames.

Hi- point 40 now and start saving for a nighthawk or Wilson or similar 45 in a few years.

I have the HK usp, Beretta 96 and px4, Sig 226/229/320. Glock 22. 23, 27. Smith 4006.... I need to find the P series ruger in 40. I have the 9 and 45. Strangely I do not have the hi-point either.

In your case I might get the 226. The 226 mags fit the 229. And they can be had in CPO like new form for 400ish. Like new mags for 89 dollars for 5. I also prefer it to the 229 personally. The Glock 22 is my favorite (and most used) .40s

CZ Tactical Sport Orange.

Awesome it is.

I have to agree with Guzzi.
Of all my upper end guns, my CZ TSO is definitely the most fun, most accurate, and gets used the most.
After a few upgrades, and a 9/40 switch barrel, I couldn't be happier!
Infact, if i had to pick just One Gun...
