What are some good pro-gun countries?

I believe the Czech Republic is also excellent with their guns laws. I think it's the government that said that they see no reason to limit CCW because it's a non-issue in the country. I also think you can own full autos there too.

Well I nearly bought an AK at a flea market last year FTF transaction, but didn't. I was beat to hell.

I am talking about those 'stan' countries. This if probably the only country in the world you can buy a AKM from a fellow citizen without the Gov getting in the way.

Full autos are, unlike ccw, "may issue" therefore quite rarely issued.
Switzerland is shall issue in this case, Finland is good for silencers, CZ is for CCW with just few gun-free zones - courts, demonstrations, parlament (generaly places with high policemen concentration). Courts have lokcers for guns.

I have made plans to move to Oz, gun restrictions were not involved with my decision. Being a machinist and gunsmith already I would just get the equipment, the tools and materials and make my own. I predict that Oz will make a turnaround, it may be the people getting finally fed up with armed bike gangs or the very real threat of a Chinese mass invasion.

i will never consider any European country, nor any South American Republic, nor Africa.

Oz is a frontier, a vast interior where one can disappear completely unlike in the USA where they can find you anywhere.

The feds have way too much more in resources from satellites to drones to cell phone tracking, Oz has some very limited tracking in the big smoke towns, but in the bush nothing.

Plus being an amateur gold prospector I have gold nugget detecting equipment. For the last 20 years I have lived in Alaska, now I yearn for another adventure and challenge.

(Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Argentina, Ecuador, Paraguay, Uruguay, Columbia)Move to these countries & your gonna need a gun.....

I know some bad ones (UK and Australia) and I've heard Switzerland is good. Most of the discussion on THR I see centers around different states, how do different countries fair in their lack of gun control?

Oh, there's millions. Such as, my country here. And yours there. It ceases to be a pro-gun country , when you allow it to be. Easy or hard is the only qualifier.

Mindset....get it right. Proper mindset IMHO is ...contacting elected officials, writing letters (#1 choice), phone calls, letting them know, reminding them...no law works without the consent of the governed.

No need now for 'I'll die first' style calls, they already have a very good idea people are pi$$ed and fed up.

Improper mindset is one that produces no tangible results. Please remember...the left/commies are doing things more then typing!!

A heartfelt thanks to Ms Dragon and other contributors from some of the more gun restrictive countries. Your input allows us a glimpse of what could happen right here in the US if we ever allow the antis to win the battle. I have several English friends who have told me how bad violent crime has been getting over there since they essentially disarmed their citizens. One wonderful lady is now a permanent resident here and has her CCW.

Sweden has the highest gun ownership--per capita--in Europe.
Hunting is an honored sport and is considered to be very "cool" amongst young people.
Handguns. are for sport only but can be owned with very little red tape.
Gun safes are mandatory.

I doubt there is a country that allows what we have, the key now is to fight to hold on to it.....
