Skipping one candy bar a day from the vending machine turns into $365 after a year, $366 if it's a leap year.

What great guns have you recently seen or gotten for $365 or less:

Here is my favorite, a 1934 Remington 31R:

A few of my favorite firearms are Sub 365 $ aquisitions (it doesn't hurt to buy used)

Ruger 10" Target MKII

Remington 41 target master

Glenfield Model 60 rescued from a local pawn shop

Browning buckmark urx, Ruger 22/45 lite, Remington 870, lcr22lr, s&w snub.
Off the top of my head.

Tons of Marlin rifles.

Check Bud's Gun Shopeb site for a S&W Model 10 trade in. I looked a few of these the other day. Some had some finish/holster wear but they all locked up like Ft. Knox and had cood triggers and bright bores. Also, he had a Stevens bolt rifle (Model 200 ?) in .30-06,used but it looked brand new. It had rings and a 4X12 Redfield scope and was,IIRC, $279.00.

Charles Daly HP
Charter Arms Bulldog

To name a few.

Of course these are used prices but that is what I try to buy unless I can't find something that I really want.

My 870, my savage .22, my bersa380! My sigma 9!I've had a lot of fun with these!

Hello friends and neighbors // Nice finds folks, quality used firearms are everywhere.
Some shops just try to charge near new prices for shooters, go to another shop.

I am fortunate to frequent the same 7+ shops monthly and hit some extra shops when on the road.
Some shops it is unfortunate to see what they try to charge but check them anyway.
I know of one that has high prices on everything but revolvers, another that sells older shotguns at very low prices. Different shops respect different firearms.

Most recent in that price range, $365 tax and all:

Remington, 870 ,Wingmaster, 1953, VG, 12ga., ------------------------------ $224.70

Remington, 870, Express Super Mag., Turkey Cammo, 2005, VG, 12ga. ---- $340.00

S&W, 586, 4", 1983, F (blemished finish on one side ) .357/.38 ---------------------------- $353.00

Dan Wesson, 14, 2", $1976??, VG ( action too tight, barrel too close to cylinder but mostly just new) .357/.38------------- $294.00 + one hour cleaning and adjusting.

BTW nice Rem. 31, RIOT "roller bearing action", I have not seen one with a riot barrel.

My last 31 purchase was a 1948, 16ga. with the aluminum rec.
I was on the road,Penn./Maryland border, popped into a GS and they had two 31s which is rare.
The 16ga., upon inspection, was loaded ...rarer still.. they came down on the already fair price $25.00, too rare to pass on.

It also comes in low enough and is reliable enough to fit this thread.:D

I've gotten a few deals over the years,

2004, Remington 870 Wingmaster (1970's era), $170
2005, Mosin Nagant M44, $49
2005, Turkish Mauser 98, $49
2005, Smith and Wesson 629, 6" barrel $350
2005, Beretta 92 FS police trade in, $350
2006, Thompson Contender .44 mag $50 (frame was given to me, paid $50 for the barrel)
2009, Bersa Thunder .380, $200
2010, Brand new Ruger LCP, $250

A lot of the 45GAP Glocks and Springfield Armorys are selling for that slightly used.

Smith & Wesson model 10 trade-in from Buds for $265. It is a little rougher than I wanted it but it will do its job just fine. I ended up buying it at the very end of the lot, so I wasn't exactly getting the pick of the litter.

S&W 629 had a tool mark in the barrel the owner was afraid to shoot it I took it off his hands for $175.00 sent it back to S&W and they screwed a new barrel on and paid the shipping both ways.
