What are these markings on my CZ 75B??

    I have had this pistol for a couple months now and I think I noticed these markings before but didn't think much of it. Can someone tell me what they are for?

    This pic shows where the marking are, on the gun.

    I'll look on mine to see if I have the same markings.

    I assume it is to identify who (as in which employee of CZ) made the frame or inspected it.

    No one employee "makes" frames; it is probably an inspection mark.

    Mine has a similar mark. Probably some kind of proof or inspection mark, maybe showing all parts matched and the pistol was test fired?

    I always assumed they were part numbers.
