Hello,

Recently decided to get back into shooting and reloading. A friend decided to sell me all his reloading stuff. After sorting, I came across these and have no idea what they are ? Anyone know ?

Thanks, Ken C

You need a more clear picture and get them outside of the plastic bag. I can think of several things they might be, but without being able to see them clearly I can only speculate and I'd rather not do that.

Here's a better picture of one set

They appear to be bullet seating stems for a pistol seating die.

The rounded depression onthe one you show is for a round nose bullet, there is also a flat square one for wad cutters and Semi wadcutters.

the pin holds them in a die body, these could be for Dillon dies or maybe Star dies???

and the prize goes to...Master Blaster! yes, one side for RN bullets, the other for SWC, and the pin to hold it all together.

one part is a screw in seating stem for a RN bullet, and the other part is a replacement decapping pin from a resizing die.. I do not believe they are from a Dillon, but from a an RCBS or Hornady die set.

Master Blaster and loadedround nailed it, bullet seating stems and replacement decapping pins for Dillon dies. Thanks, guys, on my own, may never have figured it out.

This is turning out to be a good buy, a Dillon 550B, 10 complete caliber die sets, a bunch of powder and primers, books and manuals, a ton of 9mm, .38, and .30 cal brass and bullets. Think I'll order the Dillon video and peruse the reloading manuals.

Again, thanks,

Ken c

that pin doesn't hold the seating stem its threaded look carefully at the smaller dia there is a lock washer that goes there. I have several of these as I have several sets of the old style Dillon dies. That pin looks as if its a decapping pin for the Dillon dies
