What are you selling during this panic?

I traded 2100 rds of 9mm and $500 for a NIB Springfield M1A Scout with (2) extra 20 rd mags. I only had $8 a box into the 9mm. Good deal for me, guy got the ammo and was happy. It only put a small dent in my 9mm supply. Not selling anything else right now, I suspect this is going to get much worse before it gets better

I had a couple of M&P 15-22s that I'd bought used and were safe queens. Consigned at my LGS, sold and netted me a small profit. I had 11 shorty magazines for the 15-22s that had come with them, and were valueless as far as selling with the guns, so I sold them on the big auction site, and netted more than new price for them.....all profit on those.
Used the proceeds to upgrade a couple of scopes on rifles I shoot a lot. Bought a Leupold VX-3i 6.5-20x40 CDS Target for my Kidd Supergrade, a scope I wanted far more than the 15-22s.

Haven’t sold any firearms because of the pandemic; did sell a redundant rifle recently, but not Covid related. I sold some .243 brass to a guy who couldn’t find any; didn’t price gouge him. Might sell some of my factory 9mm for enough to replace it several times over in components. Thinking on it, anyway.

Sold a bunch of handgun and 556 ammo and also primers. Been collecting over the last 4 years. I buy most firearms used and sometimes they come with ammo and I also buy reloading setups and components for estate sales etc. When times are good you can hardly get 60% retail for ammo and primers

So I sat on a lot of it and sold during this panic for full retail plus. Usually was thanked for selling it

Two years ago I bought a lightweight AR upper with a millet DMS-1 scope and 450 rounds of fancy 556 ammo and a couple mags for $450. Sold the ammo couple months ago for $425. Basically have a free upper with a pretty good scope now

I know folks who sold everything they had AR wise during the Obama drought, bought it all back afterwards when times were good.

And he might consider selling all of them again, but the current reality is that B/H will sabotage any supply lines for ARs in the future.

Perhaps two or three modern guns. I have nearly sold out these last couple years. Then a few old and or antique S&W revolvers including a Army #2 captured from a Japanese soldier during the battle for Okinawa It lettered leaving the factory in 1869 to a distributer in France for the Japanese market.
I already sold my #1 and a #2 as well as a HE 1903. My poor health has all but made them useless to me.

As far as selling, I've sold nothing. But I've "restructured"; I sent my 25-06 to live with my dad. Sent a 22 handgun to live with the grandparents. Just recently, I added a .222 and a 17 HMR rifle and (like an idiot) am trying to start reloading for my '06, triple deuce, and 38 spl. Now is NOT the time to get into reloading, trust me. On Saturday Mrs. Mac and I rode a 100 mile circuit of the local gun shops. There was a decent selection of guns, however prices were all over the place. Ammo was hit and miss. Some places had certain calibers others didn't. Powder, bullets, and brass were available if not plentiful; primers were non-existent. I managed to gather up several items I had been needing, but it took a dozen stops to get them all. Now all I like is scrounging some primers, and I can start reloading.

If this continues, I'm looking at buying either a black-powder shotgun or squirrel rifle. I have plenty of powder and caps, and shot shouldn't be a problem. At least I can still shoot some for fun, and hold my cartridge guns and ammo in reserve for a time when I can replace the ammo I use.

I was thinking of selling my AR in 7.62x39 but I shot it some more and carried it deer hunting this year. I kinda fell in love with it. Short/handy and almost 2 pounds lighter than my 30-06 bolt action. Very little recoil. Dont have to worry about it getting wet or dinged up. I think I'll keep it

I do think I will sell my 22lr/.410 over/under and an old junky single shot 20 gauge. I'll use the funds towards a Colt 1911 classic. If only I could find one in stock...

Recently sold a Schultz and Larson model 65 rifle in .358 Norma magnum. Fired that rifle once in about 50 years: It won't lefty friendly, the rollover cheek piece nearly broke my jaw.

I sold everything I don’t use. People paid a lot more than I ever would.

I don’t really understand buying a ton of guns and ammo “just in case”. I’ve never seen refugees in other countries carrying more than a suitcase and their babies.

I did stock up on ammo during the trump years. Some 9mm was as low as $5/box 2 years ago. But thats only to keep pace with my practice habits.

I have a Sistema Colt 45acp I would consider selling but really haven't done anything about putting it up for sale. But I have always been a buyer and not a seller.

Recently sold an AR-AK hybrid pistol. It shot fine but I prefer the same gun in a carbine vice the Shokwave brace. It was in great shape and I sold it for what I had into it. Buyer was happy...as was I

I sold a case of Win 9mm NATO and 400x M193 5.56 ball to a local police station. I got what I had in them, give or take, didn't really make a profit. I did it because they had nothing for yearly qualifying.

Besides that? No, I'm not going to sell anything.

I was at a LGS last when when an old timer came in with a stock AR he wanted to sell. I kind of hung around and listened to the conversation...he asked $3000 for it and the owner just chuckled, handed it back, and told him "good luck with that."
