What are your most fun guns?

Probably my most fun rifle to shoot is my M1 Garand. It's a manly man's rifle, very physical, but appreciates a fine touch, too. I also think there is something sexy about a clip full of shiny .30-06 cartridges.... 😍

My most fun pistol is my Kimber Pro Eclipse II, 4" .45... it's just a well built pistol that fits me very well. I would have to say my old Browning Buckmark Standard is a quick runner-up, however.
I like my Garand's too. Luckily for me I bought a lot of surplus .30/06 in clips from CMP way back when. Recent buy, not in clips, cost me $100.00 for 100 rounds of "designated" M-1 .30/06 cost me $100.00. Yep, a dollar a round!View attachment 1247523
I like the two round clips because I enjoy loading as much as shooting

For rifles my most fun guns are most of my late 1800's single shot rifles, but one in particular stands out for me. My Marlin Ballard Pacific in .40-85 Marlin cartridge. I shoot it mostly at 1000 yds., but it's fun at almost any distance. For long range I load a cast 410 gr. Snover bullet, and for shorter distances I like my RCBS CSA 350 gr. bullet loads.
For handgun I really enjoy shooting either my S&W 745 IPSC .45ACP, or my S&W 39 9mm. Both just make me smile with their accuracy.

El-blaster supremo. This is a very fun 50 yd plinker. I find myself going through a lot of ball on a range trip with this one.

I really, really like my P210A. It takes me from a mediocre pistol shot to a better level. Fun times with it.

For just fun shootin' at clays on the berm at 50 yds, this is the way. I can't see the target past that distance these days.

Two Savage 23Ds in 22 Hornet. The One on the right is a 99% gun with a period correct weaver model 33 scope, If I had a box to put it in I would be tempted to call it N.I.B. I don't shoot it much. Can't see much through that skinny little scope.

I shoot the other one a lot. The scope is a cheap Tasco. but the optics are quite good. I use it to hunt tannerite. I was gifted a thousand rounds of factory PPU 22 Hornet ammo, so I won't have to buy any ammo for a while !!

( He's a rich friend!! )

I gotta say my cowboy guns with black powder. AHH, the smell of black powder early in the morning!

Winchester 92 in 44 Magnum is my most fun gun.

Beautiful rifle!

Everything in the safe qualifies as a fun gun, but if forced, at gunpoint, to pick just one, I’d have to say that it’s a three-way push … in no particular order:
LRB M14 (7.62x51)
RIA 1911 Tac Ultra FS (22TCM; 38 Super & 9mm)
HK P7M8/13 (9x19)

@hq … bear in mind that in the P7, Helmut Weldle set out & successfully designed a combat pistol, not a range toy.

That said, at the range it is expedient to have other firearms to shoot while the squeeze cocker’s cooling off

Has to be my Blackhawk 357 Magnum. Many newer-younger shooters don’t even know what it is. The 38 Special Wadcutter bullets make small noises with impressive holes. It’s the one the most people want to try if I offer. It’s almost all 38 but I did get a few 180 grain RNFP to try in 357 Magnum. More fun than should be allowed with clothes on.

As a reserve officer I don't really associate combat with fun (unless it involves paintballs) but YMMV... 🤷‍♂️

Oh … and here I was under the assumption that the P7’s unfunness was due to heat issues.

At any rate, stay safe … both on & off duty
