What did I buy?

What is this thing? The numrich cross reference for a sears model 10 shows a very different gun so that’s clearly not it. Single shot, bolt 22. Intersting barrel configuration makes it look like it may be stupid easy to make a receiver for this thing. I’m not sure yet if I will assemble it as a rifle or as a long barrel bolt pistol similar to a chipmunk pistol, but one thing is for certain, I need to know what I am getting because it looks like it needs a firing pin/striker/cock knob contraption.

    That was my first inclination. The trigger housing kinda seems mossberg-ish though.

    Ya hard to tell some Mossberg have there pat#s on the trigger guard. Colt made a similar rifle but the bolt nob was smaller and used a simple trigger.

    With gun-in-hand it looks like I got a sears 101-2830. Seems like it’s going to be a really simple receiver build. All I need to build is the receiver itself, and probably buy a firing pin and firing pin retainer....looks like a C clip and a piece of hardened steel plate in the 10ga thickness range.
