I am the Internet Sales Manager for a fairly large Honda dealership in the Baltimore area.

I carry a Benchmade 710.

Maryland has very strict anti-CCW laws here. Even though we just had a MAJOR shift for the Demo's to the Republicans, I dont think that this will change anytime soon. So, for me to carry my Kimber Pro Carry probably wont happen.

I just heard from a "reliable police source" that the mayor of your fine city just appointed some of his cronies to ranking positions in your P.D.

Retired L.E. I don`t live in the state I worked and I carry anything I want.

Baltimore is a hard place to do what O'Malley wants to do...that is make a difference on crime. The former Chief Norton is now head of the MD St Police.

I am presently "employment challenged" (the politically correct term that is used instead of 'unemployed' or 'laid off') but when I was working, I was a technical manager with AT&T for 18 years (anybody know of any openings :D ) and I carried based on my mode of dress ... Para C6.45LDA, C7.45LDA, Taurus 85, 850, S&W 640, 342, 3913TSW, NAA Guardian.

After a year and a half of unemployment, I am now Parts Manager for the US importer of MZ motorcycles and scooters! See them at http://www.motorradna.com .

When I started work they gave me a list of their workplace rules. No drugs, no alcohol, and a few other restrictions, but not one word about weapons. Since my CCW permit allows me to carry anywhere not restricted either by law or posted wishes of the owner, the Kel-Tec P32 goes to work with me. My Ruger P95 would be an encumbrance with all the moving around I do messing with stuff in the warehouse.

I'm a graphic designer - I work at one office designing ads for several parenting/educational publications and I'm the art director of a healthcare publication (not as boring as it sounds), and I work at home designing S.W.A.T. Magazine. At the office I *believe* I'm the only one carrying (a USPc in .45 right now, but other times a Taurus 617 - and a NAA Mini as a BUG). The boss there is completely cool with me carrying, though he sometimes jokes about me being his personal bodyguard. At S.W.A.T.,I assume most everybody on the staff carries.

I'm a special advisor of protective services for a LARGE, MAJOR
medical firm. Since I'm restricted to revolver's, I carry a
1979-80 vintage Smith & Wesson model 60, 2" barrel .38 SPL.

But, off duty I rely on my famed SIG-Sauer P220A in .45 ACP!

Best Wishes,

I am an Inside Sales employee for a manufacturing facility that is one piece of a huge ($400 million) company owned by a bigger ($40 billion) a year company.

While the management at my facility is gun friendly (some have carry permits), the company policy is no guns. I usually carry one in the car on my way to & from work, but don't risk carry in the building, even with understanding management. There are antis where I work, & if one would spot a gun on me could take it up to corporate & cost me my job.

That said, I usually carry a Makarov in the car to & from work, & also have a Fobus paddle with me if I am going somewhere between home & work & want to strap it on.

For other times, I have an Ultra CDP, a Colt Mustang, & a Taurus PT-940 that are pressed into service depending on what I am wearing, where I am going, how I am getting there, etc.

Off work

Well, since I work for the Department of Defence(Navy actually) I am not actually allowed the right of Self-Defence at work, so I only get to carry when I am not at work...kind of bummer.

When I do carry, It's a full size H&K USP in .40 S&W...but I am in the market for a P-11, so I can carry during the summer also.

I'm a college student, and since i'm not 21(as of today, I've exactly a year to go), I carry a benchmade AFCK, a surefire 6P, a giant wad of keys, and a Backpack full of books (which is both a dandy shield and a decent impact weapon). there's some signs stating that the college is a "gun free" zone, but that doesn't apply to CCW holders.

Me neither, but I carry anyways.

My godzilla like powers...

I am singularly responsible for destroying the rainforest. I am also the predominant supplier to the paper recycle industry.

Well, not exactly. I push paper and in doing so, have other scorch and burn the rainforest on my behalf. What paperwork I generate ultimately goes into recycling bins.

Oh, the gun thingy. Sig P220 when there's real work.

I own a computer consulting business in Portland, Oregon. I carry a Ruger P90.

I retired my 1911, after all it is 89 years old as of last week.

I'm a nurse in an ED, the only one on the 11p-7a shift. TOO MUCH PRESSURE!!!!!!!!:D But I'm trying to worm my way back into pediatric intensive care where I belong. And I believe that just may be a Taurus 605 in my pocket.

Residential real estate in Lubbock, TX.

Depending on my attitude and mode of dress...

-Taurus PT111 Stainless

-Springfield XD9 4"

-Ruger SP101 357 3"

Mechanic for a school district in Central NY. Just got my first Pistol a Glock 19. Don't carry because My new holester isn't here yet. And I have a restricted permitt for now.

In the words of Tamara, "I'm an Unemployed Bum."

(This is only short term.)

When I carry, it's usually one of my Glock 19's..

i'm a paper pushing pansy for the insurance industry.
ten of my thirteen coworkers are moody, irrational, aggressive, hateful, angry, and ticking time bombs for at least 5 days each month.
i carry a s&w HRT and a steyr m9, for both my protection against my coworkers and for everyones protection against irate insureds who demand settlements.

seriously, we had one "grieving" father storm into our office and demand payment after his child died in a fire while both mommy and daddy were getting drunk at a bar. sadly, the building the family lived in as caretakers of a seasonal hotel was NOT covered by the insureds policy. they omitted it to save money.
it was obviously not covered, but after a court battle for a few years the insurance company settled just to be done with it. think they sent a check for $750,000 IIRC. i hope those lawyers gouged the irresponsible parents for as much as possible. stinking lowlifes. oh yeah, and the boss gets all nervous now whenever insureds come to our office upset because their insurance costs so much, or are looking to have a claim paid off immediately. my cubicle is at the far end of the office so if trouble comes, its going to visit the anti-gun boss first, giving me plenty of time to respond. :D

I'm retired. I carry a Sig P239 in 9MM loaded with Winchester Ranger "T" 127gr +P+ most of the time. On rare occassions, I carry a Bereta 950 in .25acp.

If I felt that there was a chance that I was going into harms way, I'd dig out my old Safariland level lll-A body armor and carry an AR-15.
