What do you want to see happen...

I would start with Article I, Section 8, Clause 3. Otherwise known as the Commerce Clause.

I think the Commerce clause is necessary and is a proper grant of authority to Congress to regulate interstate commerce. I would not repeal it outright. It does need to be restricted to its original intent as it has been used by Congress to to extend its authority to regulate to individual US citizens--citizens who as a class did not exist when the Commerce clause was written, but were created by the 14th Amendment.

The 14th Amendment, radically changed the structure and authority of the federal government. Most countries have to write a new Constitution or charter to do that. The US has done it by reinterpreting what was already written and it is a process that continues to this day. Original intent is mostly rendered moot by the 14th Amendment.

The Commerce clause was put in place to stop individual states from charging tarrifs on goods crossing state lines. It should be limited to that.

We've wandered far from the OP's original question regarding everyone's RKBA wish list into the realm of political philosophy. So it's time to end it.

I invite everyone who has participated and shared his or her wish list to consider how, or even whether, you could help actually bring those changes about. This isn't a suggestion for a thread. It's merely an idea of an exercise you might be interested in pursuing.
