What firearm(s) have been in your family for the longest time?

I have a .36 cal. 1851 Colt that my grandfather gave me back in the mid 80s. All he said was that his brother told him it had been in the family a long time. My searches on the interwebs indicate it was manufactured in 1853.

It's long past shooting condition but a shootable replica is on my list of guns to buy.
That could not have been made in 1853, that model wasn't introduced until 1861.

The Colt Model of 1851 had an octagon barrel.

My dad (82) bought a Colt 1911 that was nickel plated at a gun show in the 1960's for $50. It's too much for him to shoot so he "traded" it to my son for a 22 semi auto pistol. I have only been into guns for a couple years and only have a few. My friends father passed away in January and I bought his Remington 40x in 308. 26" fluted barrel with adjustable peep hole sites. The thing is good to 700+ yards. It was his dads favorite gun. It is my favorite as well and my son will get it when I'm gone.

It is really cool to read everyone else's stories, I wish I had history of my family that goes back 100 plus years.
