I have a core that I usually base my mobile "Weekend" arsenal on...

.45 auto
.357 revolver & levergun
.22 auto rifle

What do you usually "Happen to have with you?"

It's gonna be my Glock 9mm and KT P3AT with a spare magazine for each. Should cover all carry situations I could encounter and get me through whatever the situation is.

I always have my G23 on me and a Kel-Tec SU-16B with the Get Home Bag, but on a long trip I go with my S&W 13-3 .357 Mag. I drop it in the door pocket next to me since the Glock is hard to draw while sitting.

Depends on what the weekend trip is for. If going to hunting lease with long guns, I often do not take BUG. Just one less to keep up with. If traveling with family, I usually throw in XD-9M to suppliment an "always" 5-holer. That Springer bought a couple of years ago in honor of our new president, for it's 20-round capacity. :)

Assuming a non-hunting trip and taking someone else's vehicle:
Rossi .357 Magnum snubbie
RIA .45
and as of last weekend: S&W .44 Magnum 29 Classic

I WOULD take my Beretta CX4 Storm 9mm but kind of hard to conceal that one :)

This stays home for shorter drives (state parks etc), but for a 6-7 hour drive to visit family, the SKS, concealed under a camouflage net and other stuff in the trunk.

My folks aren't interested in shooting, and it stays concealed in the trunk when there.
It seems better to have something on a long drive, even through small towns, just in case a natural disaster or Al Qaida-inspired event happens, no matter how small the chance.

The only ammo is on stripper clips, kept separate. I don't have any handguns.

For the long haul I stick with the basics.
Colt Diamondback .38
Colt Python .357
Marlin 1894 C .357

not to say you shouldnt bring any of the above mentioned guns on weekend roadtrip type trips but it seems packing long arms on a non hunting trip is a bit overdoing it. If im on a long trip i bring the same gun that i usually carry...smith 642...maybe a g19 for the center console,

...but an sks under a camo net in the trunk in case of terrorist activity??? our world can be bad but this isnt the opening chapter of patriot games

A G21w/ 3 mags and atleast a spare box of 50rnds, a PF9w/ 2 mags and a spare boxof ammo, and depending on how far out I'm going a Mossberg 500 with 20 rounds onboard and maybe a box or 2 in the trunk.

A CZ97B rides with me every day with a couple of mags of Hornady 230 HP's in +p.

My carry G26 and a long gun in the trunk. If I'm staying in motel it will be a Sub 2000 so I can carry it in with my bags without being obvious. Otherwise a shotgun or AR, mostly the AR.

If you mean vacation in a populated area I carry my Glcok 19 with a spare mag.

If you mean 'inna-woods' for some camping & hunting then It would be one of my .357 Ruger's (Vaquero or GP100) and Winchester Mod 94 30-30. I usually keep my cheap-o Heritage .22 revolver and a brick of 500 rounds as a pack gun just as a backup/plinker.

Usually at least my XD9mmCD and a .38 SP bodyguard. May also have the .22LR rifle and Hi-Point 9mm carbine and maybe a 8mm rifle or 12 guage in a ready bag in the trunk...
